I am delighted to have a collection of my recent works on paper exclusively available through Irving Gallery, Oxford. Head over to the gallery website to view the collection alongside a beautiful presentation about my practice and background. This online release of nine works is the first of the new Irving Projects, curating online collections by featured artists as well as virtual group exhibitions, extending the gallery’s programme beyond the constraints of the gallery’s physical space.
Back in June the first ever book of my work, ‘Forests of Dreamland’, was published by Redden Press. I’m delighted that it has been so well received with many wonderful comments from readers including this review by writer and curator Stephen Ellcock.
The first edition of ‘Forests of Dreamland’ is limited to 100 copies and features 19 full colour illustrations as well as an in-depth ‘In conversation’ piece with fellow Reading based artist Robert Fitzmaurice which charts my creative process, influences and background. It also features a foreword by one our most exciting contemporary writers, John Higgs.
There are still some copies left to buy here.
I'm delighted to have two of my works selected for this year's Oxford Art Society Open Exhibition. The show, which consists of 139 artworks selected from over 500 submissions, is open 11am - 6pm daily at the Kendrew Barn, St John's College until 5 October.
